Sarafa Associations across India call indefinite strike

It seems Government is losing favors among jewelers across India as Saraf Associations (Bullion Jewelers Associations) across India have called an indefinite strike until the proposed excise duties & import custom duties are rolled back.

While, GJF has temporarily called off the strike till Monday on account of its meeting with the Finance Minister but GJF has also supported the strike called by the various local bodies, saraf associations & regional jewelers associations.

The Government better announce something favorable to jewelers on Monday or it seems even GJF plans to call a nation-wide indefinite strike of all jewelers & jewelry-related-business which could possibly include businesses ranging from Gemological Labs to Jewelry Tag printers!
