Jewelers Association Jaipur calls for Bandh today


Jewelers Association Jaipur protests against excise duty & duty on colored gemstone import to India.


Jaipur Jewelers Association has called a city-wide strike today. The complete Johari Bazar Vyapaar Mandal (Main City Center Cooperative Business Association) has supported the strike & the complete Johari Bazar shopping area will be closed for the day.


A rally of jewelers will start from Badi Chaupar, Jaipur & proceed to the Governor's House.

This is in continuation with the Protest Rallies carried out in Kanpur, Indore, Ahmadabad & many other major cities of India on March 23, 2012 & in support of the protest march being carried out in Mumbai on 24 March, 2012.
