Orange County, California was the scene of Bravo’s very first Real Housewives series, so it should come as no surprise that people there tend to have a spare money and a willingness to spend it. But $25,000 on a manicure? That is the price of the top-of-the-line offering at OC’s Images Luxury Nail Lounge, which uses 24-carat gold and real diamonds along with, you know, polish and stuff to create nails that are a kind of jewelry in their own right. The shop owner says six women have paid for the full treatment so far.

For its grand opening, the salon is offering discounts and some freebies such as a friend referral discount and a free movie ticket for customers who spend $75 or more.

And for those not willing to drop some serious cash for a GIA-graded diamond or 24 carat gold nails, the salon offers more traditional manicure-pedicure packages starting at $45, waxing, threading and more.
