It suspends an articulated cabochon Coral and circular-cut Diamond cascade with pear-shaped Amethyst fringe. The arrangement is mounted in 18k Gold. More than fifty years old, these earrings are a piece of beauty like Elizabeth Taylor herself. The set was auctioned for a huge amount of $842,500 in New York last week.
