Marilyn Monroe wearing a beautiful Emerald Necklace |
Marilyn Monroe’s eternity wedding ring made in Platinum is all set to be auctioned in December 2011. The ring, which features 35 baguette-cut diamonds is estimated to be sold at $500,000 dollars (most probably even more!) inspite of the fact that one of the diamonds in the ring is missing!
The ring comes from the time that Marilyn Monroe was married to Joe DiMaggio in 1954 at a private civil ceremony at City Hall in San Francisco, California. Unfortunately the marriage ended two weeks after her husband saw the scene where her dress is blowing up while she tries to hold it down. The dress was itself sold for $5.6 million!
